U14 Foil Terms & Conditions:

All fencers must be members of the BFA and be a member of a Yorkshire affiliated fencing club or reside within the Yorkshire Region.

All clothing and equipment must be in good working order and comply with BFA regulations. Plastrons, jackets, breeches and long socks are compulsory.

Size 3 blades must be used.

Lame bibs are not required at this competition.

All fencers must be under 14 years of age on 1st January 2025.

The competitions will be run in accordance with BFA rules. However, the organisers reserve the right to vary or interpret the rules at their discretion.

You agree that we may publish your Personal Information as part of the results of the Event and may pass such information to any governing body or any affiliated organisation for the purpose of insurance, licences or for publishing results either for the event alone or combined with or compared to other events. Results may include (but not be limited to) name, any club/home country/regional/county affiliation, results, age category, penalties.

You also agree that in the event of a disciplinary or welfare incident that you are either involved in or witness, we may pass on your personal information to British Fencing or any other relevant Authorities for the purposes of supporting any investigatory activity into that incident.

Your email address may be used to keep you informed about this event and future events.

Photographs or video may be taken by the organisers for publicity purposes.

You are personally responsible for making sure that your clothing and equipment conform to BF rules and are in good condition. Neither BF nor York Railway Institute nor the organisers of the competition, nor any official or referee involved in the competition is responsible for these matters, or for any accident, loss or damage to persons or property however caused. You agree to the conditions and to abide by the decisions of the organisers.
